Engineers at North Carolina State University have designed a carseat carrier handle with improved ergonomics. It puts less stress on parents as they move the child in and out of the car and improves the grip on the handle reducing the likelihood of dropping the car seat.
There is an out of print book: How to Raise Your Child Without Breaking Your Back that provides additional ergonomic information for those who care for children.
